Coke oven machinery equipment is one of leading products in TYHI, including 4.3M tamping, purified type, 5.5M tamping, 6M top charging, 6.25M tamping, 7M top charging and 7.63M top charging. Early in 1954, TYHI has taken on the task to design and manufacture the first complete coke oven equipment in China thus it became the earliest manufacturer having the achievement on production of coke oven machinery.

Engineers of technology center in TYHI not only made improvements on traditional products to let TYHI stand the leading level in domestic, but they continuously made creation and innovation. In Aug 2002, 1st set 4.3M tamping type coke oven machinery (with 500mm wide chamber) designed & manufactured by TYHI. This set of equipment has been tested running only one time at site-Linfen Tongshida Industrial Company in Shanxi and put it into successful production. Until now, TYHI has produced over 150 sets/units of same type products. Such equipments over 20 sets in total have been exported to Indian steel companies such as JSW、JSPL and obtained best evaluation of customers from abroad and domestic.

TYHI firstly researched and developed RJ50 heat-recovery coke oven machinery (coal charging capacity: 50T) with its own intelligent property right. This technology has been up to advanced level among same type products in the world. In Feb 2007, one set of 3rd generation of heat-recovery coke oven machinery, designed and produced by TYHI, has been put into production successfully in Indian South Steel Company.

Through gradual practices of these years, TYHI has grasped coking process and features as well as accumulated much more experiences regarding to manufacturing process, erection & commissioning at site. At the same time, TYHI has a professional group to perform technical services. Owing to these conditions, TYHI designed and developed 6M and 7.63M coke oven machinery and such equipments supplied for Ma Steel, Ben Steel, Bao Steel, Shanxi Coking & Chemical Industry Company, MeiShan Steel, TISCO, WuHan Steel, LiuZhou Steel, XuanHua Steel and ZhongPu Steel.

5.5M tamping type coke oven machinery is the key and large-scale product developed by TYHI. From 2003, TYHI began to research and develop but it couldn’t been pushed into market at that time because of less market demands. In 2006, TYHI developed a new generation 5.5M tamping type coke oven equipments basing on absorbing technologies of 4.3M tamping, 6M top charging and 6.25M tamping design (Germany), chamber width of 5.5M type was designed from 480mm to 520mm . TYHI invited specialists to guide and performed 1:1 tamping test in the assembly workshop. In order to ensure test precise, coal briquettes sampling from workshop were taken to professional coking plant to analyze. These valuable first-hand information provide reliable base for design improvement. With the successful test in factory, TYHI has owned its core technology of such equipments. On March 8th, 2008, one set 5.5M tamping coke oven equipment supplied to ZhouPing Coking & Chemical Industry Company has been successfully put into production, it marks that TYHI has owned state-of-art technology in the world. Until now, over 30 set/units 5.5M tamping coke oven equipments have been manufactured.
