1. General
TYHI is the only enterprise which
can produce both wheel and axle at present, which has
successively provided axles, the wheels and wheelsets of the
different kinds of standards and specifications to domestic
and abroad markets. It passed ISO 9001 certificate in 1997 , AAR M-1003 certificate in
2000 and TSI (EC) certificate in 2008.
The axle production line,
which is professional production line, was established in
1991.The main equipment includes precision forging machine
imported from Austria, rotary heating furnace, heat treating
furnace ,tempering furnace ,terminal milling machine ,three
hole drilling machine, common lathe and CNC machining lathe,
and CNC grinder machine ,etc. The annual production capacity
is 60000 pieces. All the production line has been
automatically controlled by computer, integrating the
technology of machinery, electricity and hydraulic. It is one
of the most advanced precision forging axle production lines.

Product and manufacturing level
Axle: TYHI Has gotten the
qualification to manufacture train axle from Chinese Ministry
of Railways since 1991.It can supply different kinds of axles
in accordance with the standard of Chinese Ministry of
Railways strictly. These axles can satisfy market demand.
Thereinto, the axles of “TZ” brand RD2 got the honor of
“
Shanxi
province famous brand product” and was appraised “one of
hundred domestic customers satisfied productions” by Chinese
quality institute and user institute in 2000.
TYHI supply high quality
production to Chinese Ministry of Railways, at the same time,
It also manufacture a lot of exported axles according to
AAR
standard ,EN standard, etc.. These axle were used in intercity
car, industry and mine, etc.. The company successively
developed and produced carbon steel normalize axles and alloy
steel quenching and tempering axles ,including different kinds
of passenger car and wagon axles, which are C series , D
series ,E series , F series ,K series and E series.
Wheels: Since obtaining the
qualification of railway wrought steel solid wheel from
Chinese Ministry of Railways, Taiyuan Heavy Industry Wheel and
Axle CO., Ltd has supplied wrought steel solid wheel of
840HDS, 840HESA, and 915KKD,etc.for Chinese Ministry of
Railway. It can produce different kinds of railway wheels as
per
AAR
, EN, UIC, BS and JIS standard, which are high quality. In
recent years, it cooperated with Alstom and Siemens to provide
the wheels for Shanghai Pearl Line, Nanjing Metro , Shanghai
Metro Line 1, Phase II of Shanghai Pearl Line ,and Guangzhou
Metro Line 3 and so on. It also has gotten the production
qualification from these companies ,all along keeps the wheels
and axles on the position of advanced technology and
leading manufacture level.
Presently TYHI is trying to
make the wheels of motor train unit, axles and wheelsets which
the speed are more than
200km/h
to satisfy the request of domestic railways quick developing.
